50. EXT. CHASE SEQUENCE #2: LONG FULL
As Jeff's car #1 swerves quickly to one side and stops in a
ditch off the road, the steel drum rolls by it and out of
scene. For a LATER CUT the car backs into its original
direction and drives out of scene, CAMERA PANNING.
51. EXT. CHASE SEQUENCE #2: MEDIUM FULL
The truck #9 enters the scene and stops. Corey leaps down from
the back and runs to the cab opposite the driver's side.
52. EXT. CHASE SEQUENCE #2: CLOSE FULL
CAMERA shooting past Corey into truck #9 cab.
COREY:
We haven't a chance of outrunning them, but I think we
can stop 'em anyway.
Corey takes a wooden, match out of his pocket and strikes it
On the side of the truck, then tosses it to the rear of the
truck O.S.
COREY:
Okay! Release the brake and give it a shove!
Greg, who is standing on the running board, reaches in and
releases the brake. Then he steps down to the ground and he
and Corey push the truck, which moves back out of scene.
53. STOCK: "PURPLE MONSTER" EP. 3
The truck, with the drums now ablaze in the back, rolls back
TOWARD CAMERA.
54. EXT. CHASE SEQUENCE #2: LONG FULL
Jeff's car #1 tears up the highway TOWARD CAMERA to make up
lost time and rounds a curve in F.G.
55. STOCK: "PURPLE MONSTER" EP. 3
The truck, with blazing drums, rolls directly TOWARD CAMERA.
56. EXT. CHASE SEQUENCE #2: MEDIUM FULL
As Jeff's car #1 rolls PAST CAMERA, Bob and Jeff hit the ground
and roll.
57. STOCK: "PURPLE MONSTER" EP. 3
The car and truck collide and explode with flaming drums flying
in the air.
