                                                    #1001 EP. 12-4.

12. CONTINUED:

           COREY:

Well, that oughtta be easy enough.

           THE RAVEN:

Oh, it won't be as simple as all that. I intend
           to complicate matters.

           COREY: (to Greg)

It must be a hobby with him.

           THE RAVEN:

Quiet! First of all, I don't wish to let them know
that I'm still alive unless it's absolutely necessary.
Secondly, I want to see to it that Parker's own model
of the Seismotron can't be used against us.

Rankin enters with a small carton in his hands.

           THE RAVEN:

Rankin has here an exact duplicate of the tube that
you are to get. That is, with one small exception.

           RANKIN:

This one contains a different gas, which will explode
with terrific force when the glass is cracked. It's
glass is thin enough so that the heat of the machine
in the test will crack it in minutes.

           THE RAVEN:

Now, listen carefully, Corey. Wayne and Stevens will
expect any attacks to come when the tube is being unloaded
at the railroad yards. Therefore, you and Greg will park
off the road on their return route, and as they pass
you'll force them off the road.

           GREG:

Yeah, but how do we make the switch?
