                                                    #1001  EP. 12-6.

19.   CONTINUED:

      For a LATER CUT Corey and Greg get out of their car with
      guns drawn and walk to Bob's car.  For a LATER CUT Jeff’s car
      #1 approaches from left B.G. with Jeff firing.  The heavies
      return fire and run to their car, pulling out with Greg
      driving.  Jeff, in his car, continues through scene in pursuit.
      For a FINAL CUT Bob closes his door and pulls out to follow
      them.

20.   EXT. HIGHWAY #9:  MEDIUM FULL
      Corey and Greg walk to the driver's door with guns drawn.

           GREG:

           Hey!  He's alone!

           COREY:  (to Greg)

           I don't like this.  (Then to Bob)  Okay, Wayne.
           Get out, and keep ‘em up.

      Bob starts to obey, but as he opens door all react to
      approaching O.S. car and gunfire.  The heavies return fire and
      start out of scene.

           COREY:

           It's a trap!  Beat it!

21.   EXT. HIGHWAY #9:  CLOSE FULL  (INT. CAR #1)
      On Jeff driving and firing ahead through window.  RUN FOR CUTS.
      For a FINAL CUT he swerves to a sudden stop.

22.   EXT. HIGHWAY #9:  CLOSE FULL  (INT. CAR #2)
      Greg is driving while Corey fires from window at pursuing car.
      RUN FOR CUTS.  For a LATER CUT he reacts to empty gun.

           COREY:

           I'm outta shells.  Give me your gun.

      Greg hands him the gun and he continues firing for MORE CUTS,
      For a FINAL CUT Corey again reacts to empty gun, thinks a
      minute, then makes a decision. He removes tube from carton
      and throws it.
