                                                    #1001 EP. 12-8.

33. COVER CUT FOR ABOVE DIALOGUE

DISSOLVE TO:

34. INT. WALL SILHOUETTE: MEDIUM FULL
Shadow of Committee member (The Raven) answers short wave
      radio.

           THE RAVEN:

           Corey! Did you get it?

           COREY:

No. It was a trap. Wayne was alone. When we forced
him off the road, Stevens came charging in, blazing
           away in a second car.

           THE RAVEN:

Now there’ll be no chance to switch that tube.

           COREY:

It don’t matter. We haven’t got it anyway. I had to
toss it at Stevens to get away.

           THE RAVEN:

           You what!? Why you stupid.....

           COREY:

Now, wait a minute. My hide may not mean a heck of a
lot to you, but I'm kinda used to it. Besides, it
wouldn’t have made no difference. We stopped on a hill
where we could watch them after we stopped them. I saw
           Wayne throw the package away.

           THE RAVEN:

That can only mean that Wayne deliberately changed the
plan, and the real tube hasn’t arrived yet. Hold on
while I try to find out what they’re up to.

The Raven, still in shadow, crosses to telephone on opposite
side of room from radio and dials. For a LATER CUT he returns
to the radio and calls Corey back.
