DISSOLVE TO:
27. EXT. CITY STREETS #4: LONG FULL TRAVEL (NIGHT)
A run thru of Bob's car #3 on the way to the Davis Building.
28. EXT. CITY STREETS #5: CLOSE FULL (NIGHT) (INT. CAR #3)
On Bob as he drives to keep appointment with Noland.
DISSOLVE TO:
29. EXT. DAVIS BUILDING: LONG MEDIUM (NIGHT)
Bob's car #3 pulls to a stop in front of a large building. Bob
gets out, walks to doorway of building and enters. For a LATER
CUT Bob runs out to his car and gets in. HOLD A MOMENT. Then
he drives out.
30. INT. DAVIS BUILDING: MEDIUM FULL (NIGHT)
On entrance as Bob enters from outside, looks around, reacts to
what he sees O.S. and runs off in that direction. A LATER CUT
shows him run back out.
31. INT. DAVIS BUILDING: MEDIUM CLOSE (NIGHT)
On Noland lying on floor, obviously wounded. For a LATER CUT
Bob rushes into scene, kneels beside him and turns him over to
a half-sitting position.
BOB:
Mr. Noland. It's Bob Wayne. Who shot you, The
Raven's men?
NOLAND:
No. The Raven himself. He knew I discovered his
identity. When I finished talking with you, he
appeared and shot me. You were right about the ring,
Bob. Only it wasn't a "W"..... it was an "M"
BOB:
An "M"! Of course. I saw it upside-down.
