40.)

41. INT. PARKER'S APARTMENT: MEDIUM FULL (NIGHT) (PAN AS NECESSARY)
Joan, sorting papers at the desk, discovers a paper that she
reacts to. She picks up phone on desk and clicks it several
times. She reacts to this, hangs up and rushes over to the
door, locking it. Then she runs to the window. For a FINAL CUT
she goes to the radio and makes a call.

           JOAN: (into microphone)

Calling Bob Wayne! Can you hear me?

           BOB:

           Go ahead, Joan. What's wrong?

           JOAN:

Bob, Corey's car is parked in back of the hotel, and
My phone is dead. I've got a hunch I'm going to have
           company.

           BOB:

Hold tight, Joan. I'll make it as fast as I can.

44. INT. PARKER'S APARTMENT: CLOSE FULL (NIGHT) (PAN POSITION)
On Joan at the radio for her part of INTERCUT conversation with
Bob (Scene 34). As she finishes the call she reacts to some-
thing O.S. and CAMERA SWISH PANS in that direction to reveal
The Raven, Corey and Greg standing at the window, apparently
having just entered. They advance toward her, CAMERA PANNING
AND HOLDING when she is included in scene again (MEDIUM FULL).

           THE RAVEN: (before PAN)

That will be all the broadcasting for today, Miss Parker.
Greg, you watch the hall in case Mr. Wayne shows up.

Greg walks to the hall door and exits.
