                                                     #1001 EP. 2-1.

                      "RETURN OF THE COPPERHEAD"

                             EPISODE TWO

FADE IN:

 1. INT. TEST PLANE #1: CLOSE (PROCESS & PLATE)
On Bob as he reacts in horror at the landscape coming at him.
(CONTINUING FROM EP. #1, SCENE #120) He then looks down at the
control cell under the dashboard. He uses his gun, or other
handy prop, to smash the cell, then seizes the wheel and
regains control of the plane. He pulls back quickly, zooming
      upward.

 2. INSERT: DASHBOARD OF PLANE: CLOSE (PROCESS & PLATE)
Bob's hand with prop smashes cell. (THIS CUTS INTO SCENE #1)

 3. INT. HEAVIES' PLANE #2: CLOSE (PROCESS & PLATE)
The control panel used by Stark explodes with smoke and sparks
and Stark, with a scream, throws his hands in front of him.
The pilot turns, with a start, to help him. (THIS CUTS INTO
      SCENE #1 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING INSERT)

 4. EXT. SKY AND SKYLINE: LONG FULL (MINIATURE)
Bob's plane #1 pulls up just short of crashing into the
gasoline tank and, for a LATER CUT, the heavies' plane #2
dives into scene, hits tank and explodes.

(THE ABOVE SCENES ARE THE TAKEOUT AND CUT INTO THE OVERLAP)

 5. EXT. AIRPORT: MEDIUM CLOSE
Parker, Joan and Jeff are watching the viewing screen, which
      has gone black.

           PROFESSOR PARKER:

I can't tell if the plane crashed or not. The last
image was the gasoline storage tank looming up... and
           the screen went dead.

Just then Bob's voice COMES OVER the radio speaker and all
      react.
