#1001 EP. 6-2. 4. CONTINUED: JEFF: Bob! Where were you? You missed all the fun. I suppose you know from Joan about the boatload of explosives. Well, don't worry about it. I've taken care of that. BOB: Oh, really? That sounds interesting. How did you manage it? JEFF: I used the portable control panel, and when the boat came within range I simply took over control and steered it into the rocks. BOB: (with ominous smile) Yes, I know. I had a front row seat. JEFF: Yeah? Where were you? BOB: (expression changing to anger) Inside the boat! Of all the knuckle headed.... JEFF: Well, how was I supposed to know you were in the boat? What were you doing there anyway? BOB: Not that it matters much now, but I caught the boat as it was taking off and was dumping the cargo before it got here. I suppose it's lucky you were here after all, since I wouldn't have had time to unload all of it. JEFF: I told you it was a good idea. BOB: (assuming a sham attitude of aloofness) I don't wish to discuss it. |
