#1001 EP. 6-6.
16. CONTINUED:
BOB:
I can't give you any assurance, Mr. Foley. However,
I'll do whatever I can. Did he give you a deadline?
FOLEY:
Yes. Six o'clock tonight. If I haven't left the money
by that time in an empty oil drum in an alley near the
shop, he says he'll ruin me.
BOB:
Well, that gives us a few hours to try to find out what
he's up to, and if we can't, perhaps you'll decide to pay
off as a last resort. I'll be down there shortly to check
out the plant myself.
17. INT. FOLEY'S FACTORY OFFICE: MEDIUM FULL
Foley on telephone for his end of above conversation. As he
finishes the conversation a knock comes on the door.
FOLEY: (into phone)
Thank you, Mr. Wayne. I'll be expecting you.
Foley then hangs up the phone as he answers the knock.
FOLEY:
Come in!
18. INT. FOLEY'S FACTORY OFFICE: LONG FULL (PAN SHOT)
Corey enters, carrying a briefcase, closes the door and,
smiling, approaches Foley's desk.
FOLEY:
Yes, what can I do for you?
COREY:
Mr. Foley? My name is Anderson. I'm from the government
inspector's office. I was told to come down here and do
a routine check on your plant. That is, if it isn't too
much inconvenience.
