24.   EXT. LAKE:  LONG FULL  (PAN)
      Jeff's speedboat #1 comes from under the bridge toward CAMERA
      which PANS it to the right past the heavies' speedboat #2 and
      HOLDS.  A moment later the heavies' speedboat starts and takes
      off out of scene to the right.

25.   EXT. LAKE:  LONG FULL  (PAN)
      Jeff's speedboat #1 races into scene (not too fast) from left
      and sweeps by out of scene to right.  CAMERA PANS BACK to pick
      up heavies' speedboat #2 and follows through.

26.   EXT. LAKE:  CLOSE FULL
      On Jeff in speedboat #1 driving along, glancing about.  For a
      LATER CUT he reacts to the SOUND of a shot and turns to see the
      heavies' boat O.S.  Turning back, he speeds up, glancing back
      occasionally as the SOUND of the heavies' shots COME OVER.
      RUN FOR INTERCUTTING.

27.   EXT. LAKE:  CLOSE FULL
      The heavies in their boat #2 look ahead at O.S. boat #1.  The
      one not driving picks up a rifle and fires ahead.  Then, for a
      LATER CUT, the driver speeds up and the other heavy continues
      firing.  RUN FOR INTERCUTTING.

and)  LONG COVER CUTS OF BOAT CHASE.  REAR BOAT FIRING.  CAMERA PANS.

30.   EXT. LAKE:  CLOSE FULL
      On Jeff as he turns his wheel quickly and pulls around an
      island.  For a LATER CUT as he comes out of the completed turn
      he straightens the wheel and, looking ahead, draws his gun,
      takes aim, and fires at the heavies' boat #2, which is now
      ahead of him.  RUN FOR SEVERAL CUTS OF HIM SHOOTING.

31.   EXT. LAKE:  LONG FULL
      Jeff's boat #1 heads toward CAMERA with the heavies' boat #2
      coming up in far B.G.  Suddenly Jeff's boat swings around a
      small island and the heavies' boat continues into F.G. until it
      passes CAMERA.  CAMERA HOLDS until Jeff's boat rounds the far
      side of the island and comes up behind the heavies' boat
      heading into F.G. THIS INTERCUTS WITH SCENE #30.

32.   EXT. LAKE:  CLOSE FULL
      On the heavies in their boat #2 as they react to the shots
      which COME OVER presumably from behind them.  They turn to see
      Jeff's boat O.S. now behind them.  The heavy with the rifle
      tries to fire back at Jeff but the gun clicks empty.  He throws
      it on the seat and reaches down for a box of grenades.  In the
      process he takes a shot from Jeff and falls overboard.
