                                                    #1001  EP. 8-14.

69.   COVER CUT FOR ABOVE DIALOGUE

70.   INSERT:  CLOSE  (STOCK: "THE PURPLE MONSTER STRIKES"  EP. 14)
      On the gauge as the needle reaches the danger mark.

71.   EXT. STREET #1 NEAR CHEMICAL COMPANY:  LONG TO MEDIUM
      Bob's car #3 enters from B.G. and stops, Bob getting out and
      walking PAST CAMERA.

72.   EXT. STREET #1 NEAR CHEMICAL COMPANY:  CLOSE FULL
      At the corner of a building as Bob starts to round corner to
      F.G. but stops, ducks back, and peers around as he reacts to
      something he sees O.S.  For a LATER CUT he runs back.

73.   EXT. CHEMICAL COMPANY:  LONG FULL
      Showing truck #9 (re-dress) backed against building with Corey
      on platform.

74.   EXT. CHEMICAL COMPANY:  LONG CLOSE
      Corey and Greg are rolling drums out through opening in
      building wall which feeds into truck #9.  Hank stands on the
      ground beside rear of truck.

           COREY:

           This won't be enough. We'll wait for the batch he's
           finishing now.

      Corey and Greg return inside.  For a LATER CUT The Copperhead
      enters from BEHIND CAMERA, rushes up to Hank, who turns in time
      to get a punch that sends him down and out.  The Copperhead
      then rushes off toward the door, CAMERA PANNING.

75.   EXT. STREET #1 NEAR CHEMICAL COMPANY:  MEDIUM CLOSE
      The Copperhead enters scene and takes cover behind something
      handy, watching O.S. action.  For a LATER CUT he runs out PAST
      CAMERA.

76.   INT. CHEMICAL COMPANY:  MEDIUM CLOSE
      The door opens and The Copperhead enters, gun in hand.  He
      quietly makes his way out of scene.

77.   INT. CHEMICAL COMPANY:  MEDIUM FULL
      Corey and Greg are standing beside Lawton, who is watching the
      gauge on the boiler.  Their backs are to the door.

           COREY:

           How long before that soup's ready to cool off?
