                                                    #1001 EP. 8-15.

77. CONTINUED:

           LAWTON:

About twenty minutes. Then another half-hour for
cooling and we can start filling the drums.

           THE COPPERHEAD'S VOICE: (O.S.)

Stay where you are and raise your hands!

The three heavies turn in reaction, but stop short and slowly
raise their hands. CAMERA DOLLIES BACH as The Copperhead
enters scene, covering them with gun. The heavies separate
slightly and, as The Copperhead moves his gun to cover Greg,
Lawton, who is directly opposite him, throws a bottle, hitting
the gun and knocking it from his hand. Greg seizes the
opportunity and lunges at The Copperhead, landing a punch,
which is immediately returned by The Copperhead, only to have
Greg hit him again sending him up against a steel drum. But
The Copperhead again returns the punch sending Greg back into
the rest of the drums. At that moment, Corey takes his turn
and spins him around, landing a punch on his jaw, which The
Copperhead returns, staggering Corey, and The Copperhead turns
just as Lawton leaps at him. He ducks, and Lawton flies over
him into the steel drums. The Copperhead comes up swinging and
lands two more punches on Corey which send him down next to
Greg amongst the drums. Lawton then resumes the fight with two
punches that send The Copperhead back against the table, just
as Greg gets to his feet and swings a chair at him. He ducks
it, and it smashes on the table. The Copperhead comes up with
two more punches sending Greg down again, turning just in time
to stop the advancing Lawton by slugging him backward, and
following up with a three punch routine which puts him out. By
that time, Corey has risen and runs up behind The Copperhead
who turns in time to catch a punch that sends him back against
the table again, partially lying onto it. Corey then advances
with a crowbar and struggles with The Copperhead a moment,
finally bringing it down on the table near his head, just as
The Copperhead comes up with three punches sending Corey to the
      floor.

78. INT. CHEMICAL COMPANY: LONG FULL (DIFFERENT ANGLE)
The Copperhead turns in time to see Greg pick up another chair
and swing it at him, so he ducks to the floor in a kneeling
position as the chair smashes across the table. Greg takes
advantage of this and kicks The Copperhead in the jaw, sending
him down. He is about to make a second kick when The
Copperhead grabs his foot and trips him off balance, then
coming up with a punch on Corey as Greg falls over the table.
