                                                   #1001 EP. 10-11.

42. CONTINUED:

           BOB:

That's pretty weak, Walters. Why the outside phone?

           WALTERS:

For the same reason I decided to jump the gun on your
plan. I also suspect a leak in the Committee, therefore
I expected you would be attacked on your way back with
           the shipment.

           JEFF: (looking at Bob)

           Sounds good, don't it?

           BOB:

Yeah..... too good. I think we'd better take care of
           him for a while.

Suddenly Walters springs to his feet, catching them by
      surprise, and draws his gun.

           WALTERS:

No you don't, Wayne. Stay where you are, both of you!

Walters turns them around and backs out through the door.

43. INT. COMMITTEE BUILDING (UPPER LOBBY): MEDIUM FULL
On Wayne's office door as Walters backs TO and PAST CAMERA.
For a LATER CUT Bob and Jeff run into scene.

           BOB: (to Jeff)

Take the other elevator! I'll take the stairs in case
           he gets off!

44. INT. COMMITTEE BUILDING (UPPER LOBBY): MEDIUM FULL
On the elevator doors as Walters backs into scene FROM BEHIND
CAMERA and rings for elevator. He enters and the doors close
behind him. For a LATER CUT Jeff runs in, rings, and takes the
      other elevator.

45. INT. ELEVATOR: CLOSE FULL
      On Walters operating elevator.
