 3.   CONTINUED:

           COREY:

           Hold it!  Here comes Wayne's car.  Take off, quick!

      Greg turns the wheel sharply and they speed out.

 4.   EXT. HIGHWAY #7 AT BRIDGE:  LONG FULL
      The heavies' car #2 turns down a side road and pulls away as
      Bob's car #3 drives in from B.G. and comes to a stop in F.G.
      For a LATER CUT The Copperhead runs in from BEHIND CAMERA and
      enters car #3.  The car turns and drives to B.G.

DISSOLVE TO:

 5.   EXT. PEARL-ELM GARAGE:  LONG MEDIUM
      Bob's car #3 pulls in and stops near rear entrance of building.
      Jeff (driving) and The Copperhead get out and close the doors.

 6.   EXT. PEARL-ELM GARAGE:  MEDIUM FULL
      As Jeff and The Copperhead close the car doors and stand on
      opposite sides of the car, talking over the roof.

           THE COPPERHEAD:

           You'd better get going and give Bob the good news.
           My car's in back.

           JEFF:

           Well, I guess we won't be needing you, unless you want
           to be in on the kill, when we round up The Raven's gang.

           THE COPPERHEAD:

           No, you and Bob can handle it alright, with police help.
           Good luck!

      CAMERA PANS as The Copperhead runs to rear corner of building.

 7.   EXT. PEARL-ELM GARAGE:  MEDIUM FULL
      Jeff watches The Copperhead disappear around the corner O.S.
      He turns and enters the building.

 8.   EXT. PEARL-ELM GARAGE:  MEDIUM FULL  (PAN)
      The Copperhead, once around the corner, peers back around to
      watch Jeff enter the building through the rear door, then runs
      to and climbs fire escape.
