                                                    #1001 EP. 14-5.

16. INT. COMMITTEE ROOM: CLOSE TO CLOSE FULL
CAMERA opens with a close-up on Noland and DOLLIES BACK to
      include Maxwell and Merton.

           NOLAND:

I tell you, Wayne, I went there as you instructed me
by phone. Or at least I thought it was you. When I
got there those killers forced me into the other room,
and were discussing getting rid of me when you came in,
           Miss Parker.

17. INT. COMMITTEE ROOM: LONG FULL
Overlapping above dialogue. Bob, Jeff and Joan are standing,
      and addressing the Committee.

           JOAN:

You seemed rather surprised to see me when I found you,
           Mr. Noland.

           NOLAND:

I was. But they weren't. I heard them say that you
three were checking the chemical companies, and they
           were expecting you.

           BOB:

Proving there's a leak here. As I said, gentlemen,
I don't know who it is yet, but I will soon.
           (Bob looks at Noland)

           NOLAND:

I know you think it's me, Wayne, and I don't blame you.
My story sounds bad, but it happens to be true. But, I
have an idea that may help you discover who it really is.

           BOB:

Whom do you suspect, Mr. Noland?

           NOLAND:

I'll let you know when I have more to go on.
