           MERTON:  (to Jeff)

           Did you discover anything at the chemical company?

           JEFF:

           No.  The man who worked there, and made the bomb, was
           killed.  The others got away.

           MAXWELL:

           Yes, and now that The Raven has the Seismotron, this
           city is at his mercy.

           JOAN:

           Perhaps not, Mr. Maxwell.  I've been going through my
           father's papers.  He was working on a device that would
           nullify the power of the Seismotron.  So far, I haven't
           found the plans.

           BOB:

           If she can find those plans and complete that machine
           without the Professor's help, we may beat The Raven
           after all.
