#1001 EP. 15-16.
88. CONTINUED:
BOB:
Well, perhaps its just as well we don't know who or
where he is. He did take the law into his own hands,
and that leaves him open to serious legal charges.
MAXWELL:
No, Bob. The Governor has completely cleared him
of any charges that could be brought against him.
After all, he did help clear up the worst crime wave
this state ever saw.
JOAN:
Yes. As did another Copperhead thirty years ago.
MAXWELL: (rising)
Bob, I'm glad you decided to accept this position,
permanently. We need a good man to run this office.
Well, I've got to consider some new Committee members,
so, I'll be seeing you. Goodbye, Joan.
JOAN:
Bye, Mr. Maxwell.
BOB: (getting up as Maxwell leaves)
See you tomorrow.

91. INT. WAYNE'S OFFICE: MEDIUM FULL
From behind desk. As the door closes after Maxwell leaves, Bob
rises and removes the wooden chest from the desk drawer,
placing it atop the desk and opening it. He takes Jeff's note
from his pocket and places it in the chest. He closes the
chest and replaces it in the desk drawer. He walks around to
the other side of the desk in B.G., where Joan is.
BOB:
You and your big mouth.
