 45.   CONTINUED:

       Bob's hand lowers the letter to reveal the items on desk,
       including the photo of his father.

FADE OUT:

FADE IN:

                     BEGINNING OF NIGHT SEQUENCE

 46.   EXT. 50 FRANKLIN STREET:  LONG FULL  (NIGHT FILTER)
       CAMERA on Federal Street facing Portland Street.  The
       heavies' car #2 comes around corner in B.G. toward
       CAMERA and turns left into hotel parking lot.

 47.   EXT. 50 FRANKLIN STREET:  MEDIUM FULL  (NIGHT FILTER)
       In the hotel parking lot the heavies' car #2 comes to a
       stop at the foot of the steps leading to the fire escapes
       and roof.  Corey, Greg and two N.D. heavies get out.

            COREY:  (to Greg)

            Be ready for a fast take-off.  If we ain't back in
            ten minutes, you'd better come up fast.  That's
            Parker's place on the top floor.

       Corey and the two N.D.s start up the steps, continuing out
       of shot, while Greg remains.

 48.   COVER CUT FOR ABOVE DIALOGUE

 49.   EXT. 50 FRANKLIN STREET:  LONG MEDIUM  (NIGHT FILTER)
       At front or side entrance Bob's car #3 pulls to a stop at
       the curb.  Bob gets out and goes into hotel.

FAST DISSOLVE OR WIPE TO:

 50.   INT. PARKER'S APARTMENT:  MEDIUM FULL  (ESTABLISHING SHOT)
       A modernly furnished apartment.  Parker is seated at his
       desk sorting through some papers.  JOAN PARKER, his
       daughter, enters from another room (or just into scene)
       with more papers.

            JOAN:  (handing him the papers)

            Here they are, Dad. All typed and the originals
            destroyed.
