#1001 EP. 1-18.
80. INT. COMMITTEE ROOM: LONG FULL
Bob and Jeff are addressing the committee members.
BOB:
This attack seems to have been the work of The Raven's
gang, but the papers they took were not the ones they
needed. They do have the plans for the control panel,
but they will be unable to use it without the plans
for the cell. Those plans and the cell itself have
been turned over to the government until the test.
LANDERS:
By any chance, did you discover anything among your
father's papers?
BOB:
No, they were strictly personal.
NOLAND:
And what about this hooded person who intervened with
The Raven's men? How do we know he isn't a criminal
also, or working for a foreign power?
BOB:
Tell 'em, Jeff.
JEFF:
Parker described the hood that he wore and this
morning I did some checking. In the old files at the
newspaper I found that about thirty years ago the
police were assisted by an unknown man they called
The Copperhead. His identity was never discovered,
but it's a matter of record that he helped to break a
vicious crime ring.
BOB: (pick up envelope and remove still of Copperhead)
Jeff had this copy made of a photo in their files,
and I showed it to Joan Parker, who said that the
hood was the same.
