                                                     #1001 EP. 3-5.

11. CONTINUED:

           JOAN:

Dad. The control panel has blown out.

           PROFESSOR PARKER:

It's probably just a tube. Let me check it.

Parker steps around to the side of the machine, FACING AWAY
FROM CAMERA, and presumably looks inside at the mechanism.
      He removes a tube.

           PROFESSOR PARKER:

As I thought. The Z-3 tube. Luckily I have another.

12. INT. PARKER'S LAB: LONG CLOSE
Parker crosses to a drawer on a work bench and, opening it,
removes a box from which he removes a tube and examines it.

           PROFESSOR PARKER:

Another delay. The electronics company sent the wrong
tube. This is a Z-2. Jeff, would you be good enough
to drive Joan down to the electronics store. They'll
           have it.

           JEFF:

           Sure, Professor. C'mon, Joan.

           JOAN:

           Be back shortly, Dad.

Joan and Jeff walk out of scene as Parker returns to his work.

DISSOLVE TO:

17. EXT. INDUSTRIAL INSTITUTE: LONG FULL (P.O.V.)
Joan and Jeff enter scene from building and walk to car #1,
entering it. This is a point of view shot from the heavies'
      car #2, parked opposite.
