39. CONTINUED:
GREG:
Yeah, it'll hold us too. You must be nuts.
COREY:
Just do what I tell you.
40. INT. JEFF'S CAR #1: CLOSE FULL (PROCESS)
HOLD FOR CUTS as Jeff continues chase. A FINAL CUT SHOWS him
swerve off road.
41. INSERT: LONG FULL
RUNNING CUT of freight train traveling at fairly high speed.
FAST ACTION.
42. EXT. CHASE SEQUENCE: LONG FULL
CAMERA STATIONED ON SUMMER STREET SIDE OF TRACKS, LEFT, FACING
MAIN STREET ON DIAGONAL.
The train enters quickly from B.G. and heavies' car #2 suddenly
enters from right, swerving around gates and just clearing the
front of the engine. FOR A LATER CUT Jeff's car #1 screeches
to a skidding stop off road to right.
43. EXT. CHASE SEQUENCE: LONG CLOSE
After a little difficulty Jeff backs his car up onto the street
again and, when the train passes, he tears off after the
heavies.
44. EXT. UNDETERMINED STREET #2: LONG FULL
Jeff's car in a run thru.
45. INT. JEFF'S CAR#1: CLOSE FULL (PROCESS)
Jeff, as he drives, looks about in all directions for a sign
of the heavies' car and a LATER CUT shows him react to
something he sees. A FINAL CUT shows him take the mike out
and switch on the radio. He reacts and tries working the
dials. Having no luck, he drops the mike and drives off.
46. EXT. UNDETERMINED STREET #3: LONG FULL
Jeff's car #1 runs through and stops near heavies' car #2,
which is parked. Jeff gets out of his car and looks about at
the buildings near the spot. Finally, he returns to the car
and drives off.
