                                                    #1001 EP. 15-2.

10. INT. PARKER'S APARTMENT: MEDIUM FULL (NIGHT) (PAN POSITION)
Bob enters through the window and, looking around, reacts to
the SOUND of Joan pounding in closet. He runs to it, CAMERA
PANNING, opens the door and she steps out.

           JOAN:

Bob. The Copperhead. They killed him. I heard them.

           BOB:

No. He was chasing them when I pulled up.

           JOAN:

But I heard them firing at someone coming up the fire
escape, and just before that they mentioned The Copperhead
           by name.

           BOB:

I'm afraid Jeff was with him. He had the office radio
open and must have heard your call too. He got here
first, and came to the rescue.

           JOAN: (hesitantly)

           Those shots! Jeff?

           BOB:

Yes. I'm afraid he's dead. One more The Raven will
           pay for.

           JOAN:

Oh, no. Poor Jeff. (Pauses) Bob, we've got to see to it
that he's the last to sacrifice his life to this fiend.

           BOB:

We will, Joan. With a little prayer, and some help from
           The Copperhead.
